Westminster Philosophy
At Westminster, we honor each child as a unique individual, nurturing their gifts and supporting growth across all areas of development—cognitive, social, emotional, physical, creative, and spiritual. Our warm, welcoming environment encourages children to learn at their own pace through active, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, problem-solving, and imagination.
Play is at the heart of learning, integrating knowledge across subjects while fostering independence, responsibility, and collaboration. Through outdoor play, interactive centers and creative expression in art, music, movement, literature, and dramatic play, children cultivate confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. Guided by Christian virtues of compassion, perseverance, and respect, we nurture an appreciation of diversity and affirm the unique worth of every child.
In partnership with families, we create a supportive community where relationships form the foundation of all learning, and where every child is empowered to thrive, discover, and succeed.

Chapel
Weekly Chapel is offered for all ages and is thoughtfully designed for young children. During this special time, children are introduced to simple Bible stories and faith-based lessons that emphasize values such as kindness, gratitude, and helping others. Through age-appropriate songs, prayer, and storytelling, children experience God’s love in a joyful, engaging, and nurturing environment that supports their spiritual growth and early faith foundation.
Fine Arts
Our Fine Arts program includes Music, Library, Spanish, Stretch-N-Grow, Capers for Kids and A.C.E. (Academic Curriculum Enrichment), offering children rich opportunities to explore creativity, movement, language, and learning beyond the classroom. Through these engaging, age-appropriate experiences, children build confidence, develop new skills, and discover their interests in a joyful and supportive environment. Each program is designed to complement classroom learning while nurturing the whole child—mind, body, and spirit.
Vision Statement
Westminster envisions a community where every child discovers the joy of learning, the strength of their unique gifts, and the confidence to grow into compassionate, responsible, and creative individuals. Rooted in play, guided by faith, and strengthened by family partnerships, we strive to cultivate lifelong learners who value diversity, embrace curiosity, and contribute positively to the world.
